Sonam says “NO” to films with Dad Anil Kapoor

Sonam Kapoor is the latest hot property in Bollywood. Although her two films didn’t do well at the box office , Sonam has everything working in her favor.The father and daughter both have it going good for them. Anil Kapoor with his performance in the Oscar winning “Slumdog Millionaire” has got himself on to an all new level.
There has been much speculation lately about the real life father-daughter pair- Anil and Sonam- playing the same role on the silver screen. However, Sonam has put all doubts to rest and has made it very clear that Anil will not be playing her dad onscreen. She says that he looks much younger than his age and will not make a typical Bollywood dad.

Sonam would be next seen in Anil’s home production titled “Ayesha” and with rumors of her father’s role in the film still available getting hotter, there were lots of people who expected Anil to step into the role. However the two have made it very clear that he wouldn’t be playing the part.
Sonam for now has a lot chalked out for her. With her next film and several endorsements in line the petite beautiful damsel has it all going for her in Bollywood.

Anil Kapoor has made his mark on the international scene with Slumdog Millionaire

Anil Kapoor has beeen in the news for the past couple of months for being the actor who has maintained himself really really well. In fact, people have been even speculating whether he may be signed up as hero for daughter "Sonam Kapoor". A really young looking dad.

For now however, he is in the new for making a mark on an international level with his film "Slumdog Millionaire". It has released in the US and he is glad at the successful opening.With a big hype created by the media, it just maybe India's Oscar entry this year. Anil Kapoor had made his presence at the opening of the film. Accompanying him for the trip was none other than daughter "Sonam Kapoor".Papa trying hard to get daughter good exposure. As part of the promotion of the just released film he has been visiting many of the cities in the US. The film won the "People's Choice Award" at the 33rd Toronto International Film Festival.

The story is about a teenager from the slums whose life changes drastically with a victory. A win in a popular game show and the resultant money of 2 crores and how that makes a difference in the teenager's life. Anil Kapoor sharing his experiences of the trip abroad says "I am amazed with the reaction of the audiences in US, I saw the film along with audiences in one of the theatres in Los Angeles and at the end of the show there was a stunned silence which then broke into an applause. After seeing this I am eagerly wanting the film to release in India".
