Quick Gun Murugan -releasing today - mind it I say

"Quick Gun Murugun is an unlikely Superhero with Guntastic powers. He is a sincere South Indian Cowboy who considers it his duty to serveand protect. The movie revolves around mis-adventures of Quick Gun Murugun and his fight with his arch villain Rice Plate Reddy!" - QuickGunMurugan.com

Mind it I say - The QuickGun Murugan promos have generated quite an interest. Many have however failed to understand if it is a South film got to Bollywood or a Hindi Movie made for the Bollywood fans who have been finding Madrasi comedy fun right from the days of Padosan or even before. QuickGun Murugan is definitely an experiment on different lines in today's times of big budget high voltage dramas with a glittering star cast.

For those who came in late this role was offered to Aamir however, he could not take it up due to some commitments. Aamir however, did make it for the preview of the film which releases in a theatre near you today, the 28th of August, 2009. This is what Aamir had to say about the film in his blog "Just saw 'QUICK GUN MURUGAN'. Really enjoyed it. I think fans of the Channel 'V' character Quick Gun Murugan will love it. Its got so many rib cracking moments. And a very well pitched performance by the lead actor Dr Rajendra Prasad, and all the other cast. Its releasing on 28th so dont miss it if you are a Quick Gun fan".

Presented by Fox Star, the film has our very own Lola Kutty and the sexy Rambha playing the love interest of Quick Gun Murugan.Quick Gun Murugan is played by the South star Rajendra Prasad. Quick Gun Murugan is a fun comedy film with a South Indian cowboy for the lead:) and his issue here is protecting the cows and thus, begins the war with RicePlateReddy, a vegetarianism vs non-vegetarianism drama. Do the non-vegetarians or the vegetarians have any objections to raise here? With so many controversies on before and after a Bollywood film release, the films have been finding a way to raise an issue and have been actually thriving on the interest generated by controversies. This movie sure is a big change one that comes clean from controversies and is just going to be plain fun ....or do the South Indians have a point to make? Anyway I am surely going to make it to the theatres for this one:). The countdown begins and thegame of wait and watch.....
